Tajikistan is celebrating President’s Day today.
On this occasion, exhibitions of books by Emomali Rahmon have been organized at all libraries and museums across the country.
Besides, exhibitions of works by Tajik painters and photographers dedicated to the president have been organized at museums and libraries.
Portraits of Emomali Rahmon with inscription “Our President – Our Leader” have been hung out in Dushanbe and in all regional and district centers.
On this day, meetings under the slogan of “Loyalty to President – Loyalty to Homeland” are taking place in all military units across Tajikistan.
The interior ministry is holding a contest for the best reciters of poems dedicated to the Leader of the Nation.
Besides, students of some high schools of Khatlon province today visited School # 7 in the Danghara district and the vocational-technical school in the city of Sarband in which Emomali Rahmon studied.
Recall, Tajik lawmakers approved a bill to designate November 16 as President's Day on April 15, 2016 and President Emomali Rahmon signed this law on May 16, 2016 and it is being marked this year for the first time.
