A road-and-rail bridge in Dushanbe’s 103rd neighborhood is expected to be reconstructed.  COOLdesign Studio has posted a new design of this road-and-rail bridge on its Facebook page.  

The company notes that the bridge will be reconstructed in the style of parametric architecture with notes of futurism and bionics.

The design has reportedly got approval of the Dushanbe Main  Architecture and Urban Planning Directorate.  


Over the past three years, all large bridges of the Tajik capital have been reconstructed.  

In September 2017, reconstruction of a road-and-rail bridge at the intersection of Ahmadi Donish and Moyonsho Nazarshoyev streets was completed.


Tajik Railways (Tajikistan’s state railway company) has reportedly spent 1.4 million somoni for reconstruction of this bridge.     

In December 2017, the railway bridge on the Saadi Sherozi Avenue reopened after reconstruction.   


In March 2018, the railway on the Hofiz Sherozi Avenue not far from the Navrouzgoh Complex reopened after reconstruction.  


In November 2018, a road-and-rail bridge at the intersection of Murodullo Sheralizoda and Asadullo Ghulomov streets near the Dushanbe bus terminal reopened after reconstruction.
