This year a traditional annual pilgrimage to Mecca will cost Kyrgyz citizens about $2400. According to the "Islam economics" press-club the Muslim Spiritual Leadership of Kyrgyzstan is involved in pilgrimage organization.
In 2008 admissible number of pilgrims from Kyrgyzstan is 4500. There will be no bus trips to go to Mecca, pilgrims will travel with airplanes or "combined tours" (air and ground-based transports.)
In 2007 the Hajj cost was $1800.
