A group of farmers from Karaganda region departed for Canada on study tour, reported Kazinform. This tour is organized by the World Bank Group under Drylands Management Project.
The study tour will last half a month, during which Kazakh farmers will visit a number of farms in Canada. Kazakh farmers are mainly interested in the latest technologies for harvesting and cleaning seeds.
Farmers from Karaganda region visited Australia two years ago on a similar study tour.
