A delegation of the Russian Gubkin Oil and Gas University led by the university rector, professor V.G.Martynov arrived in Ashgabat.

According to official reports, the purpose of the visit is to discuss prospects for cooperation which was established following the inauguration of the university branch in Ashgabat. Russian guests will hold talks at the Cabinet of Ministers, the ministry of education of Turkmenistan and meet the teachers and students of the Oil and Gas University branch.

The delegation is also scheduled to see the sights of Ashgabat and its suburbs, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
