In Dushanbe, on September 1, a group of high school students staged a celebration at the “Rohat” restaurant, thereby violating the country's legislation.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the capital, on September 1, police officers carried out measures to comply with the law “On Responsibility for education and upbringing of children”. As a result of the inspection, it turned out that 11 high school students from grades 9, 10 and 11 of one of the schools in Sino district celebrated the beginning of the school year in a restaurant where one of the 11th grade students was detained for drinking alcohol.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the parents of all 11 students for violating the law. In addition, a protocol has also been drawn up against the administration of the restaurant that sold alcohol to minors, which has been sent to the court.
The police remind citizens, especially parents, of the need to strictly comply with the law on responsibility for the upbringing of teenagers.
Recall that the country recently updated the law on parental responsibility for the education and upbringing of children. Now it covers not only parents, but also teachers, educational institutions, public commissions and government agencies. The Law defines the responsibilities of all participants in the educational process and regulates measures against extremism, violence and discrimination, as well as provides support for families and schools.
