The Kazakh Film Days have officially started in Dushanbe, offering a selection of three films showcasing the vibrant cinematic talent of Kazakhstan. The event is taking place from October 28 to 30 at the Vatan cinema, with free entry and screenings beginning at 5:00 PM each evening.

Kashaubaev is renowned for introducing Kazakh vocal performance and the traditional instrument dombra to European audiences during the 1925 World Music Competition at the Paris Expo. At 36, Kashaubaev’s powerful performance captivated the audience, earning him a silver medal as part of the Soviet Union’s delegation, forever etching his name in the history of world music.
